أصدر قداسة البابا تواضروس الثاني قرارًا بابويًّا بتعيين نيافة الأنبا چوزيف نائبًا بابويًّا لإيبارشية جنوب إفريقيا، ويتولى بذلك الإشراف الرعوي والإداري والمالي عليها.
كان نيافة الأنبا أنطونيوس مرقس مطران جنوب إفريقيا قد رقد في الرب أمس وستقام صلوات تجنيزه بمطرانية جنوب إفريقيا في چوهانسبرج يوم الأحد المقبل.

His Grace Bishop Joseph Appointed as Papal leget to the Diocese of South Africa
His Holiness Pope Tawadros II has issued a papal decree appointing His Grace Bishop Joseph as Papal leget to the Diocese of South Africa, entrusting him with the pastoral, administrative, and financial oversight of the diocese.
The late Metropolitan Antonios Markos, Metropolotan of South Africa, departed in the Lord yesterday. The funeral services will be held at the Diocese of South Africa in Johannesburg on Sunday 2 November 2025.
