"أحلام غزة" على شاشة BBC اليوم

ومن خلال شهادات شخصية ومؤثرة، يروي الفيلم قصص أفراد من أهالي غزة يعانون من الاكتئاب، والقلق، واضطراب التكيف، واضطراب ما بعد الصدمة، وإدمان المخدرات. 
 

ومن بين شخصيات الفيلم شاب يسعى جاهداً لمغادرة القطاع كي يلتحق بحبيبته في تونس. وموسيقي أدمن تعاطي المخدرات لكنه يحلم بحياة أفضل من خلال الموسيقى والغناء. 

 

BBC News Arabic TV presents ‘Gaza Dreams’

 

The documentary will air on BBC Arabic TV on Tues 4 Sep at 19.00GMT.

 

Set against the dramatic backdrop of the protests that took place earlier this year in Gaza, ‘Gaza Dreams’ explores the mental health issues that most affect many of the 1.9 million people who live there.

 

Through personal and moving testimonies, this lyrical film tells stories of depression, anxiety, adjustment disorder, post-traumatic stress disorder and drug abuse in Gaza. It includes a young man who desperately wants to leave Gaza to reunite with his beloved in Tunisia, and a drug-addicted musician who dreams of a better life through song. The programme also features a psychiatrist who explains why so many people in Gaza suffer from mental health problems and how this is affecting them.
